Puerto Colón is the busiest water-sports harbour in Tenerife and the departure point for every major jet ski safari on the south coast. Sitting at the edge of Costa Adeje, 200 metres from Playa de Fañabé, it's within a 5-minute walk of almost every resort hotel in the area. Our base — pantalán 9 — is in the main water-sports pier, right next to the sailing catamarans.

Unlike the other jet ski departure points on the island, Puerto Colón is a purpose-built water-sports marina. That means short check-in times, dedicated fuelling pontoons, and direct open-water access without navigating past moored fishing boats. Every operator on the south coast launches from here, and the volume keeps prices competitive — our 30-minute rentals start at €60 and our 2-hour safaris at €120, including fuel, life jacket, certified instructor and insurance. The harbour also shelters one of the calmest patches of water on the island, which makes the first five minutes (learning controls with the instructor) stress-free even for complete beginners.

From pantalán 9 you head out past the marina wall into the open Atlantic within 90 seconds. Short sessions loop south toward Playa Torviscas and back, passing the snorkel reefs off La Caleta. Hour-long sessions push further south to Playa Paraíso and the cliffs above Callao Salvaje. The 2-hour safari departs west toward Palm-Mar and the whale-and-dolphin protected zone, where pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins live year-round. On longer safari routes you continue to Los Gigantes and the 600-metre black cliffs. Hotel pickup is free for anyone staying in Costa Adeje or Playa de las Américas — pickup happens 30 minutes before the session.

Arrive 20 minutes before your session. That gives time for the safety briefing, signing the insurance form and gearing up with life jacket and lanyard. Your on-water time is protected — the clock starts when you leave the dock.
Yes. There's a free public car park right inside the marina (about 180 spaces), and an underground paid car park (€1.50/hour). Both are 2-3 minutes' walk from pantalán 9.
