Water Sports Tenerife: closed-circuit jet skiing in Costa Adeje

We checked Water Sports Tenerife on 17 September 2026: a short buoy-marked circuit for first-time riders, several south-coast beach points and multi-activity packs that need careful comparison before payment.

Closed circuit versus safari: two different rides

The circuit is not a coastal tour. It is a large square marked by four orange buoys, with continuous supervision and a 20-minute ride after the safety briefing and a short support-boat transfer.

A safari follows a guide into open water and lasts longer. Choose the circuit to learn the controls and try acceleration without committing to a long excursion; compare a safari if scenery and distance matter more.

Playa de Troya, Fañabé and the Puerto Colón office

The official circuit page lists Playa de Troya and Playa de Fañabé, as well as El Duque, Torviscas, Los Cristianos and Puerto Colón. These are not one shared pontoon but points from which the company arranges or channels activities.

The main office is listed at Calle Colón 6, Escuela Náutica Puerto Colón. Always follow the location and time on the live voucher because beach access or transfer can begin elsewhere.

A 20-minute ride designed as a first experience

The full visit takes about 40 minutes including reception, briefing, life jacket and transfer; the advertised driving time is 20 minutes. No boating licence is required, and fuel, insurance, support and the life jacket are listed as included.

The website gives 16 as the minimum age for a single machine with parental authorization. A double machine requires an 18-year-old driver and accepts passengers from age 6. Pregnancy and serious back, heart or medical conditions are listed as unsuitable.

Packs with parascending, FlyFish and other activities

The official price list combines parascending with the circuit or longer safaris, and some packages add FlyFish. Each combination has its own duration and price.

Flyboard is advertised as a separate Water Sports Tenerife activity but was not included in the priced packs we reviewed. We therefore do not present jet skiing, parascending and Flyboard as a verified current bundle; request and confirm any custom combination in writing.

Checked prices, age limits and cancellation terms

On 17 September 2026 the circuit displayed €54 per person for a single machine and €31.50 per person for tandem use after the online discount. The price table itself says it was updated in May 2024, so verify the checkout total.

The published policy offers a full refund more than 48 hours before the activity and for weather cancellation; it lists no refund inside 48 hours or for a no-show. Times, availability and terms can change.

What works well

  • Short format for learning without booking a long safari.
  • Several activity points around Costa Adeje beaches.
  • Insurance, fuel, life jacket and support boat listed as included.

What to consider

  • Only 20 minutes of advertised driving time.
  • The price table still carries a May 2024 update label.
  • No exact verified GetYourGuide listing supports an operator-specific score.

Reviews: what to check before booking

We did not establish a current exact GetYourGuide listing for this circuit, so there is no operator-specific marketplace score we can safely attribute. Ratings from unrelated Costa Adeje jet-ski tours are excluded.

When reading Water Sports Tenerife reviews, prioritise recent comments about actual ride time, briefing clarity, waiting, sea conditions and change handling. A repetitive circuit can suit someone who wants driving time and disappoint someone expecting a coastal tour.

Online booking and GetYourGuide comparison

The button on this guide opens GetYourGuide's Tenerife jet-ski category, not an alleged exclusive Water Sports Tenerife listing. Compare supplier name, meeting point, circuit versus safari, effective ride time and cancellation policy.

For the direct offer, confirm the beach point and final total with the operator. This website is an independent guide: it neither runs the activity nor processes payment or guarantees availability.

Water Sports Tenerife FAQ

The official page lists Troya, Fañabé, El Duque, Torviscas, Los Cristianos and Puerto Colón. Your voucher should give the exact meeting point.

The circuit is a 20-minute ride inside a buoy-marked square. A safari is a longer guided route in open water.

No licence is required. The site lists 16 for a single machine with authorization, 18 to drive a double machine and 6 as the passenger minimum.

On 17 September 2026 the online display showed €54 per person for single use and €31.50 per person for tandem use. Verify checkout because the price table says May 2024.

It was not in the priced pack list we checked. Parascending and FlyFish combinations were listed; Flyboard was advertised separately and needs direct confirmation.
